Faculty rooms

Faculty rooms in the school have a blue carpet floor, white brick walls with green molding, and furniture with useful items on top. They can occasionally have more than one door, which makes them helpful detours around obstructions like Gotta Sweep and Baldi.

There are three types of faculty rooms:

  • Scattered big desks: have randomized positions and windows.
  • Round tables: with four chairs, vending machines, food trays, and sometimes bananas; and rooms with windows. However, there could not be any furniture, objects, or created goods if the space is limited.
  • Faculty locker rooms: have cafeteria lunch tables instead of desks, also have lockers and a water fountain. However, these rooms may not have items or lunch tables due to the room's size.

Main gameplay

General

Faculty rooms are distributed on three floors, with 4 or 5 rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors and 7 or 8 rooms on the 3rd floor.

Faculty rooms are a better place for the player to find valuable goods than other areas. The player will receive a reprimand for violating the "No entering faculty" rule if the Principal of the Thing witnesses them entering, exiting, or staying in one of these rooms. For a brief period of time, the player can access the faculty rooms at will without being penalized if they use the Faculty Nametag.

Endless Mode - Medium

It consists of five rooms, all of which have items. Specifically:

Other versions

There is no green molding in the faculty rooms of Baldi's Basics Classic, Baldi's Basics Birthday Bash, and Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered. Instead, the walls are textured with standard white brick. The faculty rooms don't have circular tables, but they do have plants, a chalkboard, pencils, post-it notes, and irreplaceable notebooks. One of them lacks water fountains but does have lunch tables. In all, there are five faculty rooms. The room floor and wall textures are the same in each room. The locations of the objects are shown below:

There's a faculty room in the glitched school near the 0th Prize's wall in Baldi's Basics Birthday Bash. It has a large desk with a salmon notepad, a closing wall that has been reduced and named, an exit that connects to the outside, and two purple, one blue, and one green Balloons.

The faculty rooms for Classic and Birthday Bash are the same as Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered. But instead of the outside space with an exit, the one in the glitched school has placeholder graphics.

The faculty rooms' floor texture in Baldi's Basics Full Game Early Demo is gray tile. It has five rooms overall, much like Classic/Birthday Bash/Classic Remastered. The locations of the objects are shown below:

Trivia

About the Baldi's Basics Plus version

  • It is uncommon for five faculty rooms to have doors connecting them. It could only be accessible from the playground area.
  • A little faculty room is rather unusual.
  • There may be no doors in certain faculty rooms. The Portal Poster or the Dangerous Teleporter are the only ways to get into the faculty room.

About the Baldi's Basics Classic/Birthday Bash version

While the chalkboards in the rooms with the Yellow Door Lock says “Place lore here”, others in the maintenance rooms say “Today's Lesson: How to eat cheese”.

About the Baldi's Basics Classic version

  • Since version 1.3.1, Playtime hasn't entered the room again unless she is pursuing the player.
  • The Alarm Clock was formerly located in the back corner of the faculty room. However, in version 1.3, it was moved to a desk next to the door. If Baldi is there, it is also very risky to try to retrieve the clock unless the WD-NoSquee has been put on the door.
  • The version 1.4.3 update included the Big Ol' Boots poster.
  • In version 1.1, the player would be considered guilty of wrongdoing for one second after leaving the faculty room.
